Epicuria: Food and Zin Pairings

Thursday, January 26, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

An event shuttle schedule and voucher will be provided upon check-in to the hotel
Take your palate on a culinary adventure as you discover the diversity of Zinfandel and its wide range of complementary flavor combinations. This informal dine-around expedition features pairings of 50 top Zinfandel wines with creations from master chefs. Mingle with winemakers and epicurean experts as you take a journey for the senses while sampling these regional offerings. The return of the ZinKitchen will be a highlight.

Aimed at the true wine aficionado with an aptitude toward learning more, Flights offers in-depth insight into the Zinfandel varietal and provides the opportunity to experience the true character of the legend.

Winemakers Dinner: Viva Las Vegas!
Friday, January 27, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Westin St. Francis Hotel Union Square, San Francisco
Upon arrival to this event, you will check-in at registration. You will be registered under the name you provided the hotel, assigned a dinner table number and auction paddle number (if bidding at the auction). If you are attending with a group, please call the ZAP office at 530.274.4900 to make seating arrangements.

Grand Tasting: From A to Zin
Saturday, January 28, Winemaker Workshops: 2p.m. – 5 p.m.
The Concourse at 8th & Brannan, San Francisco
An event shuttle schedule and voucher will be provided upon check-in to the hotel. This package includes special 1 p.m. ZAP member entry time with access to the Members Lounge and Winemaker Workshops.

New Venue!  ZAP’s 2012 Zinfandel Festival travels to the historic Concourse Exhibition Center, South of Market where we will present our food and Zinfandel pairing and Grand Tasting events. This former railway station harkens back to a classic age of travel. The Concourse provides a single spacious building that is handsomely finished with carpeted floors and wood paneling, providing an intimate yet comfortable atmosphere for easy passage among wineries and winemakers.
