CELEBRATE 110 YEARS!

March 21, 2014 marks the 110th anniversary of the legendary Westin St. Francis, San Francisco’s most iconic hotel. Originally opened in 1904 to international acclaim, the hotel quickly became the center of the west coast’s social, theatrical and business life. Commissioned by Charles T. Crocker and his affluent circle of friends, their vision of making San Francisco the “Paris of the West” and the St. Francis Hotel the flagship came to life after two years of construction and $2.5 million, a hefty sum for that time period. The opening of the historic St. Francis Hotel set a new echelon for innovation and opulence in San Francisco. Help us honor more than a century of memories at our landmark destination in the heart of San Francisco’s Union Square! Take a tour through 110 years of history, enjoy a special rate, or bring your favorite four-legged friend along for an adventure in the city.Throughout the entire year, guests and visitors to The Westin St. Francis can celebrate the 110th anniversary of the hotel with special packages, menu items, historic tours, spa treatments and more.
